Clinical Hypnotherapy is simply a variation of an everyday experience, similar to day dreaming.
During clinical hypnotherapy, the client is able to experience and explore their emotional and physical responses to whatever they choose to visualize or recreate. It is a time to be still and put aside the pressures and concerns of daily life.
Clinical hypnotherapy has been used therapeutically for many years, it can assist the person to find solutions and discover their unique resources. During a session you are invited to explore any physical and emotional issues in a dream like state while still being in control. It is a time to be still and put aside the pressure and concerns of daily life. Milton Erickson's Clinical Hypnotherapy is a gentle respectful therapy allowing the client to find their own way and explore what might feel right for them. It invites the client rather than instructs.
Hypnotherapy can be helpful for:
Anxiety: which often causes a person to continually feel distressed about whatever they are anxious about. They may feel uncertain and unsure often with little confidence in their ability to cope.
Weight loss: For those who struggle to loose weight, it would seem they are always in conflict with their body and self-image. Often feeling defeated in their efforts to succeed. Such, that they denigrate themselves over time to feel a failure in looks and ability.
Smoking is a hard habit to release. Furthermore, it was usually started when they person was young fit, and healthy with the serious effects of smoking a long way off and unable to be considered. But, as time passes, the physical effects are all too evident plus the cost of the habit is causing the individual to feel trapped.
